Elia Collignon, Developer at Mont Blanc Collection, a French hotel group based in Chamonix, shares her journey with us.
After obtaining her baccalaureate in Sciences in France, Elia decided to pursue a bachelor's degree in economics and management, where she completed her last Erasmus year in Sweden before embarking on the master's bridge course at Vatel Bordeaux. She finally obtained a MBA Degree in Finance & Project Development specialization from Vatel Switzerland.
Passionate about the hotel industry but also about numbers, she quickly understands that this course will provide her with all the skills she needs. Her ambition to work in a hotel group ever growing and external speakers throughout her schooling confirming her choice. “What I appreciate the most was the quality of the courses and the speakers' availability. The group projects throughout my studies are just a repetition of what I do today on a daily basis ".
After six months of internship with the Mont-Blanc Collection group in development, a position was created especially for her as Development Manager, a position that she still occupies today.
"I have a lot of pleasure to evolve within this position because I analyze all aspects projects' set-up, going from the feasibility to the business plan, from the financial taxation and obviously from recruitment to the pre-opening ”.
We wish Elia Collignon and the Mont Blanc Collection Group every success in developing their brand !
