Since April 1st 2021, Vatel hotel has been awarded an upgraded rating. In fact, each of the 51 room that was themed after a city or country hosting one of Vatel group’s school, not only guarantees excellent quality expected in et 4+ starred, but also provides superior comfort and modern equipment to customers as well as to students. Mrs. Catherine Jollien, Room Division Manager, explains the advantages of a higher hotel classification : "This move allows us to maintain our credibility as a training hotel because it allows students to evolve and improve, during their practical weeks, in a quality environment and to switch with more confidence to internships. In addition, it allows them to deal with a real demanding clients who expects top quality service. It also responds to a demand within Martigny city and Valais region both among MICE and leisure customers. This allowed us to adapt our packages in our reservation systems and forced us to increase the maintenance checks of rooms and common areas. We are delighted with this outcome after 18 months of refurbishments and it is with pleasure that we welcome students and families to discover their future workplace ".
